The connection gap

A missed call should not become a missed connection.

Facility phones are shared, calls are timed, and families cannot always answer. SendAKite is designed as an asynchronous communication layer that works with approved facility access—not around it—and can be configured market by market.

Simple by design

From signup to the first message.

Each connection begins with verification and clear consent. Access depends on the rules and technical controls of the participating facility.

01

Create a connection

A family member registers the person, facility, booking ID, and approved phone number.

02

Verify access

SendAKite confirms the facility and communications-provider rules before any connection is activated.

03

Call, listen, and reply

Where permitted, the incarcerated person uses a dedicated number and PIN while family manages messages through SendAKite.

Built for a responsible launch

Clear before connected.

Families should understand what is needed, what is available, and what it costs before a service begins.

What families will need

One contact. One verified connection.

  • Family member name, email, and mobile number
  • Incarcerated person's full legal name
  • Booking number or inmate ID
  • Current jail or correctional facility
No payment is collected through this prototype.
01

Verify first

Confirm facility and provider access before activating a paid connection.

02

Explain every charge

Publish clear pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before enrollment opens.

03

Separate consent

Keep required service notices separate from optional marketing permission.

04

Support real families

Offer simple instructions, recognizable call information, and a clear path to human help.

Kentucky launch network

A free resource for bail-bond agencies to offer their clients.

SendAKite will begin by working with licensed bail-bond agencies in Louisville and Lexington, then expand across Kentucky and into additional markets. Agencies pay nothing and receive no commission, referral fee, revenue share, discount, or control over customer accounts.

01

Offer

Give customers and families access to a useful communication resource when incarceration creates an immediate need.

02

Connect

Share a simple agency link, QR code, or handout. The customer chooses whether to enroll directly with SendAKite.

03

Support

SendAKite handles consent, connection verification, onboarding, customer billing, messaging support, and service availability.

04

No kickbacks

The agency is never paid for referrals. This is a free client-support relationship, not a commission program.

Facility-first accessNo claim of access until the receiving facility and its contracted communications provider permit it.

Consent controlsSeparate operational and marketing consent, STOP/HELP handling, call disclosures, and auditable records.

Privacy by designRole-based access, encryption, minimal collection, retention controls, and incident response planning.

Human-governed AIRestricted knowledge sources, safety filters, monitoring, and escalation—never confidential legal advice.

Customer questions

Know what to expect.

Direct answers for families, facilities, and community partners before the Kentucky pilot begins.

What is SendAKite?+

SendAKite is a phone-first platform in development for approved voice messaging, family replies, account tools, and resource guidance for incarcerated people and their families.

Is SendAKite available today?+

Not yet. The first controlled pilot is being prepared in Kentucky. Joining the launch list does not create an account, start a subscription, or collect payment.

Will it work at every jail or prison?+

No service can be promised until SendAKite confirms the rules, phone access, and technical controls of the specific facility and its communications provider.

What information will families need?+

Expect to provide the family contact's name, email and mobile number, plus the incarcerated person's full name, booking or inmate ID, and current facility.

Can a bail-bond agency see customer messages or account information?+

No. Agencies may share SendAKite as a free resource, but they receive no payment and no control over customer accounts, messages, billing, or private information.

What can the AI guidance do?+

The planned guidance tools will use approved sources for reentry, education, benefits, and family support. They will not replace a lawyer, doctor, therapist, or emergency service.

Will Spanish support be available?+

English will lead the Kentucky pilot, with Spanish-language onboarding and support planned as the platform expands.

Global platform • Kentucky first

Help build a better line home.

KITE Global LLC is preparing the first SendAKite launch with families, bail-bond agencies, facilities, and community partners in Kentucky.

SendAKite is currently in development. This prototype does not submit this form, create a service account, activate calling, or collect payment. Availability will depend on facility authorization and applicable communications-provider rules. Privacy, service, pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be published before enrollment opens.
