Their voice, ready when you are

A goodnight message. News about their day. A few words just for you. Your loved one can record a Kite by phone and choose to send it as a text, a phone call, or both.

Text delivery includes an automatic written transcript and a private link to play their original recording. No app download is required. Long transcripts may arrive in several texts. If the written version is delayed, the recording link can arrive first.

To send a new Kite, they log into their private inbox, press 5, enter and confirm your phone number, then choose 1 for Text, 2 for Call, or 3 for Both. The same choices are available when recording an inbox reply.

Text Kites currently support US mobile numbers. The recipient must opt in below. A queued Kite and its recording link are available for 30 days from creation. Anyone with the link can listen, so keep it private. Automatic transcripts can contain mistakes; the recording keeps their exact voice.

By texting START, you agree to receive recurring personal Kites and service messages from SendAKite, operated by KITE Global LLC, at the number you use to text us. Message frequency varies with your conversations. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. SMS opt-in and consent information is shared only as needed to provide the messaging service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Open a START text

Review and send the text in your messaging app. Opening the draft does not sign you up. Text delivery is subject to carrier activation and approval.

Reply to a Kite

Text the same SendAKite number. On the first line, write KITE followed by your loved one's eight-digit routing number. Write your message on the next line. Use the routing number shown in their Kite. Never include the private inbox PIN.

Your reply can be read aloud in their private inbox after they log in. Voice Kites and phone menus remain available through their existing call flow.

Manage your messages

STOP cancels SMS messages. START or UNSTOP turns texts back on. HELP returns support instructions. You do not need to buy a subscription to control texts sent to your number.
